Warranty Terms & Conditions

Ideal Hardware (“Company”, “Seller”, “we”, “our” or “us”) warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

During the warranty period, Ideal Hardware will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product that is deemed to be defective, provided that the product is returned to Ideal Hardware with freight prepaid.

Ideal Hardware reserves the right to inspect the installation of the defective product before any removal, repair, or replacement is approved.

Warranty Coverage

• This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of products proven to be faulty in manufacture or materials.
• Replacement products may be the same or an equivalent product.
• Labour charges, transportation, installation, re-installation, and other associated costs are not covered.
• Deterioration of coated finishes is excluded unless explicitly stated in the product warranty.

Returns Not Covered Under Warranty

Consumers do not have the right to return a product if they:

• Changed their mind after purchase
• Ordered the incorrect product

Warranty Exclusions

Ideal Hardware accepts no liability under warranty for defects or damage caused wholly or partly by:

• Failure to properly install or maintain the product
• Incorrect site conditions or inaccurate operational specifications
• Use of unauthorised replacement parts
• Repairs, alterations, or modifications not authorised by Ideal Hardware
• Failure to follow instructions or guidelines provided by Ideal Hardware
• Use of the product for purposes other than those specified
• Continued use of the product after a defect becomes apparent
• Fair wear and tear
• Accidents, misuse, negligence, or acts of God

This warranty will become void if the product is repaired, altered, or overhauled without prior written consent from Ideal Hardware.

Ideal Hardware shall not be liable for any delays in repairing, replacing, or assessing warranty claims.

Third-Party Products

For products not manufactured by Ideal Hardware, the warranty provided will be the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable, and only to the extent that it can be transferred to the buyer.

No Other Warranties

No other warranties, whether express or implied, are provided, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

Ideal Hardware shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from a breach of warranty.

This warranty does not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights available under applicable Australian Consumer Law.
